I knew I was buying on the cheap, since other set ups I saw were $300+, so i did not have high expectations. What I did have were leaks in 3 places:1) The bypass valve on the back -- The O-ring was pinched from the factory. I replaced it and it's OK now (Cost: .72 cents). 2) The 90-degree ell fitting coming out of the pump and connecting to the hose -- inferior quality fitting. I bought a new one and it works fine.(Cost: $3) 3) The nozzle spews fuel out of small holes in the handle. Haven't figured out that problem.Once I turn the pump on fuel goes everywhere. Luckily I had an extra nozzle on hand and it works fine.(Cost: nothing) However, it would not be good if it was the only nozzle you had. Now that I have all the leaks fixed it pumps like a champ. I have a 12v ATV battery I hook up and it pumps quickly - I put in 50-60 gal at a time. No problems pumping in the -10... I got this for my wife to do 50 gallons of kerosene at a time. She had been hand pumping it, and I had to painfully watch her do it one time....and helped, of course.She now says it takes more time to hook up the battery cables and put the nozzle in than to pump the liquid. As with any other item as this, one needs to make sure it is properly installed, doesn't leak, and everything is tight. Also, be sure to have a vent when you are pumping, otherwise it will suck the tank in. (Wife learned this first time!)
